Quick Reference
CREATE TABLE
The following creates a table called Customers that contains six columns: id_customer, first_name, last_name, address, city, state, country.
CREATE TABLE Customers (
id_customer int,
first_name varchar(255),
last_name varchar(255),
address varchar(255),
city varchar(255),
state varchar(255),
country varchar(255)
);
The following creates a new table called “Users” by copying two of the columns from the Customers table.
CREATE TABLE Users AS
SELECT first_name, last_name
FROM Customers;
ALTER TABLE
The following adds the last_name column to the Customers table.
ALTER TABLE Customers
ADD last_name varchar(255);
DROP TABLE
The following deletes the table Customers.
DROP TABLE Customers;
