Quick Reference
The SELECT keyword is used to select specified data from a database.
The following selects the first_name and last_name columns from the Customers table.
SELECT first_name, last_name FROM Customers;
The following selects all columns from the Customers table.
SELECT * FROM Customers;
SELECT DISTINCT
The following selects only the DISTINCT values from the country column in the Customers table (i.e., if there are multiple customers with the country, Canada, it will only appear once in the output set).
SELECT DISTINCT country FROM Customers;
