Quick Reference

The Element cloneNode() method creates a copy of a node (and all its attributes and their values), and returns the clone.

Parameter

ParameterReturn Types
deepfalse - Clone only the node and its attributes (default)
true - Clone the node, its attributes, and its descendants
(optional)
