When using WooCommerce on a WordPress site, you can show the products on the shop page as a grid, but depending on your theme, the product’s short description (excerpt) may not appear in the grid.

However, we can add the short description to the grid with the following.

Place the following code anywhere in your child theme’s functions.php document.
