Quick Reference
The MySQL ADDDATE() function adds a time/date interval to a date and then returns the date.
The following adds 3 days to the specified date.
SELECT ADDDATE('2023-04-15', INTERVAL 3 DAY);
Output
ADDDATE('2023-04-15', INTERVAL 3 DAY)
2023-04-18
Syntax
ADDDATE(date, INTERVAL value addunit)
// or
ADDDATE(date, days)
Parameters

|---|---|
| date | The date to be modified (required) |
| days | The number of days to add to date (required) |
| value | The value of the time/date interval to add (positive or negative values) (required) |
| addunit | The type of interval to add (required)
