Quick Reference
The LIMIT keyword is used to specify the number of records to return.
The following selects the first three records from the Customers table.
MySQL:
SELECT * FROM Customers
LIMIT 3;
SQL Server uses the TOP keyword to do the same thing.
SELECT TOP 3 * FROM Customers;

We highly recommend both sites to deepen your experience, and further your coding journey. We’re just hitting the basics here at 1SMARTchicken.
