The PHP juliantojd() function converts a date from the Julian Calendar to a Julian Day Count.

Syntax

juliantojd(month, day, year)

Parameters

Parameter	Description
month	Specifies the month as a number from 1 to 12 (required)
day	Specifies the day as a number from 1 to 31 (required)
year	Specifies the year as a number between -4713 and 9999 (required)

PHP Notes:

When using PHP, single or double quotation marks are acceptable and work identically to one another; choose whichever you prefer, and stay consistent
Arrays count starting from zero NOT one; so item 1 is position [0], item 2 is position [1], and item 3 is position [2] … and so on
